“I’m Shelly, and this is my frugality…”
There are many perspectives about finances and how to reach your financial goals, but quite frankly a great deal of them are written for people who – while they may not be wealthy – they’re not living paycheck to paycheck either… but what about those who work very hard, have family who they love and desire to support just like the next person?… who have dreams that they want to pursue as well, but feel embarrassed to admit out loud that they are barely stable financially?… and when they search for and click on financial articles and videos, what they REALLY want to know is ‘how to make a dollar out of 15 cents’? …because ‘for REAL, for real’ you’re a person who IS secretly living paycheck to paycheck, but making it look ‘fly’ to your peers?… Well, I call these people “Everyday People”… people like you and me… I KNOW how it feels to be in such a state… [‘My Story, YOUR Story’]
Although I have an MBA, licenses and experience in securities, investment advisory, retirement planning, and insurance, I’ve also traveled a very colorful road… and even with my successes, I’ve had to make some tough decisions along the way… decisions that have made me stronger and better… probably like YOU feel now having survived COVID… like Paul said,
”I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation.” (Phil 4:12)
Let me show you the secret a little at a time…by sharing useful information, and practical, RELATABLE, and REACHABLE solutions. As I read financial articles, blogs, and watch videos, the phrase “everything ain’t for everybody” comes to mind… Listen, if I begin talking about the importance of having an emergency savings plan – which requires setting aside money – and you’re someone who views every dollar you have as being already stretched to capacity – that plan will probably not get very far with YOU, correct? BUT if I share what I consider to be ‘financial blessings hidden in plain sight,’ THEN also share that same savings plan, you may view the plan very differently – and perhaps more REACHABLE – right?

You’re no less valuable and no less intelligent than the people toward whom other financial articles, blogs, and videos seem to be more geared… you simply have a different reality…
..a reality that MANY others share… ESPECIALLY after enduring a COVID economy! So, if no one else seems to understand your reality, I DO! …and Shelly’s Frugality™️ is for YOU. I plan to cover a multitude of topics – including many of the topics that you will find in financial articles, blogs, and vlogs – but all topics will be discussed with YOUR reality in mind… and discussed always with a desire to deliver you some form of HOPE and PEACE… because as we strive in this life to care for ourselves and loved ones and reach our goals, we all need encouragement along with information, to help us maneuver life’s curves…because sometimes the road gets very rough… I know, I’ve been there myself!
