Happy Fall 🍁‼️ Well…, the world is trying to get back into full swing… which means so are those bills💸😤… and thanks to Covid, not everyone is in a position to celebrate reopenings by going on spending sprees…
There are so many current financial challenges for households due to previous furloughs, unemployment, and horribly low rehire pay rates, that quite a few are either on a very strict budget or, at the very least, still considerably cautious about how we spend… but some of the various forms of moratoriums and Covid payment assistance have expired or ceased while our financial obligations are kicking back in with full force, so now what 👀?…😩
Well, ⭐️Fall is a great time to focus on ways to ‘harvest’ cash⭐️. So, I figured now is an excellent time to provide you with a Fall Savings Series! Throughout this season, I’ll pick some easy ways (and a few challenges) for you to harvest cash (via savings tips) and rebuild your savings.
First up is my Subscription Sweep activity – which is a great exercise not only to keep your budget efficient but, also to find cash in a pinch!
It’s a super easy way to find a couple of extra dollars when you need to pay a small monthly bill or unexpected fee but currently don’t have the funds.
There are apps out there that offer to do the sweep for you, but I’d rather show you how to do it yourself and maintain your privacy!
I will post supplemental materials on this site from time to time that may be helpful to you as well – materials such as this simple worksheet that you may use to help complete the Subscription Sweep budgeting activity, but you’ll want to start at the Shelly’s Frugality Video Podcast Channel for the meat of the Series, before retrieving the supplemental material here.
